EURÓPA KIADÓ IN DEBRECEN!

Formed in the early 1980s around guitarist, singer and bandleader Jenő Menyhárt, the story of Európa Kiadó is far from that of a conventional band. Throughout its different eras, the group has worked with various line-ups and continuously redefined itself along changing narratives.

The traces of these periods can be found on the band’s albums and recordings, including Love ’82, Jó lesz ’84, Popzene, Szavazz rám, Itt kísértünk – Love ’92, Annak is kell, …Valahol lenni…, and Nincs kontroll.

Their latest album, Könnyedén Vett Apokalipszis, was released in early 2026 and features both older and newer Európa Kiadó songs for fans of the band.

Over the years, Európa Kiadó has managed to reinvent itself again and again without ever becoming part of the mainstream. Throughout its existence, the band has consistently preserved its distinctive style, independent spirit and sense of immediacy.

During more than 30 years of activity, the band has performed in several iconic line-ups. Its current members are Jenő Menyhárt, János Bujdosó, András Kálmán, Attila Herr and Lajos Gyenge.
